Special Participation Requirements
Boxing requires concentration and speed and trains your reflexes. Learning to box requires active and disciplined behavior in training. Boxing is a full contact sport. Respect is a required and expected basic attitude.
Each training session starts with a joint warm-up. Timely appearance to the start of the training is a matter of course. Late appearance disturbs the training.
Note for lateral entrants: Every martial art has from its rule set developed its own set of techniques and patterns of behavior. A kickboxer, for instance, kicks and boxes in a way that requires him to take up stance, which from a pure boxing standpoint would not be taken up. For that reason, it is also sensible for participants from other martial arts to go through the learning chronology starting at level 1.
